Some details about our UU at Yo-Yo:

.) Before we purchase group tickets we would like to gauge interest.  Please complete the form below by May 27th.  Responses will be sent to Bonnie Cox and Jon Todd, who are coordinating our participation.

.) We will be purchasing group tickets for the lawn which saves on fees, provides a discount, and is family-friendly. Children 18 & under receive free admittance on the lawn. While kids under 5 are not permitted in the Koussevitzky Music Shed during concerts (Tanglewood rule), they can explore the shed with an adult before and after the concert.

.). Tickets are non-refundable and concerts take place rain or shine. If you prefer to sit in the Koussevitzky Music Shed, you may purchase your own tickets directly from the BSO in advance or day of (depending on availability) and meet up to picnic with the group on the lawn before the concert and during intermission.

.)  It’s a family friendly concert. Pre-concert activities and lawn games are available for kids and families. Families often bring quiet activities for kids to enjoy during the concerts. There’s space for frisbees, catch, or a good game of tag. Adults can supervise within earshot of the concert. (No childcare is provided.)  The extensive grounds include safe places to explore like a hedgegrove maze and a whispering bench.

.)  Show your UU Pride! Bring your UUSGS Blankets, wear your UUSGS T-shirts or any attire that promotes our values of creativity, belonging, justice, etc. Lean into the purple and yellow theme!

.)  It’s a Bring Your Own Picnic (BYOP) event! Bring blankets, lawn chairs, food and beverages. Be as fancy or as practical as your heart desires. Bring food to share or just for you and your family. Alcohol is permitted and food for purchase is available.
